Lona Walker (pronounced like “Donna” with an “L”) is an author and songwriter from Joplin, Missouri.

She is also a contributing writer for an online publication, The Gospel Magazine.

Lona, along with her husband David, founded “Singing Again Ministries” in 1996 as she has been “Proving that a broken heart can sing again.”

She has a daughter, Kimmy, who is married to Josh Dennis. They have given her two grandsons.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie and her husband, Eddie, make their home in Lafayette, Indiana where they currently serve as District Youth Directors for Indiana Pentecostal Church of God Student Ministries.

Prior to her husband’s appointment as District Youth Director, the Underwoods served as Youth Pastors of God’s House in Lafayette.

Carrie is also employed at Purdue University, where she manages and coordinates course schedules and academic matters for students and faculty in the School of foreign Languages and Literatures.

Her greatest passion is to mentor young girls to become strong women of God in today’s society, inspiring them to fulfill their destiny and purpose at home, in the workplace and in their community by sharing with others the love and freedom that is found through salvation in Jesus Christ.

Karren Farley

Reverend Karren Farley loves the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart. She was saved at the tender age of 11. Today she serves as the Women’s Ministry Director for the Capital District and the worship leader at her church, the Martinsburg Christian Center where she is an Associate Pastor. Her husband, Dr. Rick Farley, is the Bishop of the Capital District. She has her Master of Ministry degree and is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Church of God. She has been married to Bishop Farley for 39 years and still madly in love with him. They have four grown children and six grandchildren. She has one grandchild that is in Jesus’ loving care. On June 29, 2008, Karren’s oldest son, Jason, died in a motorcycle accident at 29. She is learning to walk in God’s grace daily since his acccident.

She believes we need to be the light to this world and we need to encourage ourselves in the Lord as David did. No matter what is going on in our life, Jesus Christ is Lord and His love will carry us through and give us the strength we need to face tomorrow.

Reverend Victoria Smith is a Pentecostal Church of God minister who serves the Lord with her pastor and husband, Reverend Carroll Smith. They pastor Family Christian Center in Tulsa, OK and have three beautiful daughters with a granddaughter on the way.

Her life has been very different than the average pastor’s wife: she did not know of God’s love and saving grace until she was a young adult and was given drugs and alcohol by a parental figure at a very young age. Regretfully, this lifestyle robbed her of her childhood, and she lived a life far from God.

But the Lord had a different plan: one glorious day, He picked her up and put the pieces of her shattered life together as she surrendered her heart to Him.

Today, her heart’s desire is to minister to women and teens though sharing her life experiences and testimony, showing them how God can turn around a life that was in the grip of the powers of hell and completely transform it.

Reverend Donna Morton is the pastor of Living Waters Tabernacle PCG in Meeker OK, where she has served for the past 15 years. She was saved when she was 4 years old at a Foursquare Church in California and filled with the Holy Ghost at a youth rally at age 10. At age 25 God called her to preach.

After evangelizing for several years, in 1979 God laid it on her heart to start a new work in Chandler, OK. She pioneered and pastored Midway Assembly of God. After her husband died, she took a year off to seek God for direction and He led her to the Pentecostal Church of God.

She loves Women’s Ministries and counts it a privilege to be a sectional Women’s Ministries director at this time.

She is a third-generation Pentecostal woman and is about to have her first granddaughter, who will, Lord helping, be a fifth generation Pentecostal woman!

Pastor Morton says, “The Lord has never failed me, and although I have been through some tough times, His grace is always sufficient. I’m in the process of writing a book about God's grace for every situation in life. This is an exciting, challenging time to be serving the Lord!”

Mark have pastored Celebration Church in Bakersfield, CA since 1990. She has been married to Mark since 1981 and has two grown children, Scott and Rebecca, as well as two grandchildren, Scarlett and Ryley.

Karen Jones is the wife of Pastor Eddie Jones of Christian Life Center in Rolla, MO.

The dream for Christian Life Center began in their hearts in 2002. After serving 14 years in student ministries, they began to dream a God-sized dream that He had given to them to bring hundreds of people into a real experience with Christ.

They began meeting people and began with 4 in a small group in their home in 2002. In April 2003 launched the first public worship experience with 50 in attendance. CLC grew to capacity of that facility at 80 people then moved to Hotel Conference Center for two years while building their current facility. After reaching capacity of the Hotel Conference Center of 120 people and the completion of the new facility, the clc congregation moved to Christian Life Center at 305 East 1st Street.

God has blessed CLC with over 100 souls accepting Christ over the past 18 months and over 50 being baptized. In March of 2008 CLC launched a 2nd worship experience due to continued growth. Now with over 300 in weekend worship experience and over 100 students attending Zero Five student ministries, CLC is being used to expand the Kingdom of God in Rolla, Missouri.

I hail from Miles, Texas! In the late 1920s, my uncle, Marvin Coughran, father of our late General Bishop M. F. Coughran (1949-1953) brought the Pentecostal message to our little town, and my parents were gloriously saved. At age 5 I was saved, and filled with the Holy Ghost at age 6.

In 1942 I met and married my “true love,” Don Shute, and began a life of adventure in the service of the Lord. To our union were born two beautiful daughters, Donna and Pamela. Prior to the beginning of our service in World Missions (1960) we pastored churches in Sherdian and Seaside, CA, becoming charter members of the Central California District.

Our 20-year tenure in World Missions involved several “around the world trips” to all of our mission stations. What a privilege to still be able to be a part of the ministry that has literally been our “life and passion” for decades. Over the past 20 years, I have served as secretary of the All Designated Program of World Missions.

Trisha Naten

Trisha Naten has been in full time ministry with her husband, Loyd, for 40 years.

They have pastored in Ohio and three churches in Southern California.

They served as the District Secretary in Southern California for eight years and Trisha was the secretary of the Women’s Ministries during those years.

They served as Bishop of Southern California for another eight years and Trisha was the Director of Women’s Ministries at that time.

They moved to Joplin, MO in 2003 to fulfill the office of Director of World Missions for the PCG.

Trisha loves the opportunity to travel to other countries and share the Good News of salvation to those she meets. Highlighted trips were taken in 2008 to Beijing, China and Cambodia. Trisha has personally ministered in Indonesia and Cambodia through interpreters, and in 2009, she ministered at a women’s conference in Ethiopia.

Trisha has preached several District Women’s Retreats in the US; she loves to be able to touch others for Christ.

Russell Hylton

Russell Hylton serves as Senior Pastor for Bethel Family Worship Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also serves as the District Presbyter for the Indiana District and the National Kingsmen Director for the Pentecostal Church of God.

In 2004, Russell developed a one year men’s mentorship program called “20/20” - inspired from Acts 20:20 “And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have showed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house”.

Over the period of a year, he taught twenty four men, leadership lessons from the Gospel of Mark. Those men were raised up to serve in various ministry positions within and without the church, including, elders, deacons and pastoral staff.

After the first year, he then developed a continuation of leadership training through “The 222 Principle” – inspired from 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things that thou has heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

The men he originally began with were now required to teach their own “20/20” mentorship group as they continued another year of leadership training and mentorship. As this transpired, men began to reproduce themselves through leadership development and ministry multiplication.

What began in his heart as a desire to mentor men became a ministry to men and a ministry through men. Russell now shares this message with pastors and leaders around the world with a strong emphasis on Fatherhood and Sonship.

Daniel Davis

Patricia Pentecost

Patricia Pentecost, a southern Illinois native, met her husband, Bill, at Southern Bible College. They have been married and in ministry for over 30 years.

They spent nearly ten years in Jamaica doing a myriad of ministries, including administrating the PCG Bible College, teaching, preaching, and pastoring. Pat taught in elementary schools and worked in administrative positions at Bible colleges in Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. She and her husband were pastors in Plant City, FL prior to moving to Joplin, MO.

She currently serves as the secretary in the Office of the General Bishop and will be transitioning to a position at Messenger College.

Their three married sons, wives and two grandchildren live in central Florida.

I was born and raised in a farm community in the southern part of Iowa. My parents were pastors of a small community church. At 11, we moved to Ottumwa. My father pioneered a new church, which he pastored for 50 years. I began preaching “youth revivals” at 16; at 18, I was married. We began traveling with my husband’s parents’ music ministry in a Greyhound bus. Five months after we were married, we started a tour to the West Coast. I discovered not long before leaving that I was expecting our first child, and while in California, I steadily grew more ill.

Through many, many miracles, God saved me and my precious little girl. Six years later we received another sweet little girl. I now have four grandchildren, two girls and two boys. Family is extremely important to me.

Later, my husband and I started traveling as evangelists. I believe this was the happiest time of his life; he was truly at home in this field of labor. The same week the Twin Towers were attacked, we accepted the pastorate of a church. A year later he nearly died of a mysterious illness and never fully recovered. He had struggled emotionally for years, and that coupled with the illness was more than he could handle. He was at his best--where he truly belonged--in the evangelistic ministry. It is extremely important that we stay where the Holy Spirit has designed us to be. On the rainy morning of October 11, 2006, I watched my husband of 40 years have his second complete nervous breakdown. I lost him to a tragic death.

I must tell you that I have walked through many dark valleys, and I know that MY GOD has never failed me. People will fail; they will forget, they will judge, they will say hurtful things, and they will turn their backs when you need them most, BUT JESUS HAS WALKED THERE BEFORE YOU AND HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR FORSAKE YOU!

Remember, He feels your pain; He is there when everything else fails. I pray you will know today that I truly care about you and your pain. Let the Holy Spirit heal you and bring you forth in victory.
