Kandace Rather is passionately declaring that it's time for moms (and dads) to understand the power of prayer and use their spiritual influence to cause the next generation to walk out His plan and purposes. She believes that for too long parents have lived defensively--it's now time to grasp hold of the Word of God and offensively confront the spirit of this age. "Whether you have biological or spiritual children, this generation needs mothers and fathers who not only train them up as warriors for His kingdom, but will go to war through intercession for their destinies." Kandace's dad is a man of prayer and she knows without a doubt that she is walking out her destiny because of his prayers during her teenage years. Her message is one of hope and empowerment.
Kandace has been married to Nathan for 20 years and they have three children: newlywed Brady (and his wife, Ruth), Bethany, Bailey and several spiritual sons and daughters. Her favorite thing to witness is the love of God transforming lives and setting people free to walk out their destiny. She and her family call Joplin Family Worship Center their church home and family.
